Taking the Risk

No risk, no reward.  Some lessons in life have to be lived before being learned.  Personally, I don’t care for the education that comes from standing by and watching; I want to be actively engaged in what’s happening.

As someone who has long been risk-averse, it’s new territory for me to let go of the proverbial comfort that usually ends up keeping me small.
As I have discovered, when I reach out and go further than my limits, things at the very least get interesting.  More often than not, success occurs and the boundaries I have set for myself expand.
