The Last to Know

We seem to find out the truth about ourselves after everyone around has had it figured out for a long time.  The timing of this realization can be lessened by our awareness of the signals we receive.
It has been said that the majority of communication is non-verbal, so it is important for us to learn to read people.  What they are saying without words can make all the difference in effectively communicating.
Remember that the other side of communication is listening and while it’s crucial to listen to the words, it’s critical to listen for what’s not being said.
