To and Through

As I contemplate my year on the eve of my annual sobriety birthday, I am reminded of the importance of completion.  A horse that slows in the backstretch is usually passed and finishes out of the placing.  It would be foolish to run twenty five miles, not finishing the marathon, if we were physically able to get to the end.  What is it that makes us stop or give up, often at times as we near victory?  Winners are consistently trained to go past the finish line to end strong.  Don’t give up now.  Time to complete; to and through…
